Yamaha anode 679-45371-00

An anode provides extra protection against corrosion. The anode will corrode sooner, thereby protecting the engine. All Yamaha anodes are made of a zinc and aluminium alloy and are therefore suitable for all types of water. We recommend assessing whether the anode needs to be replaced based on a visual inspection. The external anode at the tailpiece and/or bracket is easy to replace, but the internal anode requires specialist knowledge.
