Yamaha anode 6G5-45251-02

An anode provides extra protection against corrosion. The anode will corrode sooner, thereby protecting the engine. All Yamaha anodes are made of a zinc and aluminium alloy and are therefore suitable for all types of water. We recommend assessing whether the anode needs to be replaced based on a visual inspection. The external anode at the tailpiece and/or bracket is easy to replace, but the internal anode requires specialist knowledge.
This anode is suitable for the following engines:

2-stroke: 100A, 115C, 130B, 150F, 200F, 225D and 250A
4-stroke: F115A, F130B, F150A, F150F, F200A, F200C, F225A/B, F225F, F250A, F250D, F250N, F300A and F300B
