For more than 60 years, Polyform Norway has been producing fenders that stand out for their extreme strength, which is verified by regular random destruction tests. What's more, they require no special maintenance and retain their shape as long as they are not overinflated.

Polyform uses innovative technologies in its production, such as the unique Polymatiq rotomoulding technology for the F series and Welcotec weld control for uniform wall thickness and reliable quality. Most products can be filled with PUR foam to improve them for special applications. All Polyform products have flexible plastic valves for easy inflation and deflation.

Method of use Instructions

Inflate!

You can use a hand pump to inflate the product, but preferably an air compressor with a blow gun or, if you have a Polyform inflation adapter, with a tyre end. The products are designed for a pressure of 0.15 to 0.20 bar at 20° Celsius.

When inflating products without a pressure gauge, inflate the fender/buoy until the walls begin to expand and ensure that you can press the wall in by at least 1/2 inch (approx. 1 cm) with light hand pressure. For tropical conditions: Approximately 1 inch (approx. 2.5 cm).

Do not overinflate, as this will weaken the product and void the warranty!

PLEASE NOTE: For use in tropical conditions/high temperatures (also for dark-coloured products exposed to strong sunlight), the pressure must be reduced to 0.05 - 0.06 bar. Always take into account the diameter of the product and ensure that you can pass through the walls.
