Transom protectors

A transom protector protects your boat's transom from damage.
This damage can be caused by attaching or removing an outboard motor from your boat's transom. Such motors are often clamped to the transom with spindles. This can cause damage. Damage can also occur when removing an outboard motor.
Purchasing a transom protector not only helps prevent damage, it also ensures that the outboard motor is securely attached to the transom. Most transom protectors are equipped with ridges that give the motor's spindles even better grip on the boat's transom. A transom protector can be installed on either the inside or outside.
